10. What is the difference between entering the Early Ticket Draw and purchasing FIFA World Cup 2026™ tickets?

Entering a random selection draw during the Early Ticket Draw sales phase involves completing and submitting an online entry.

The entry grants the chance to be selected to purchase tickets. Ticket purchase will be on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability and applicable terms and conditions. In all cases, the opportunity to purchase tickets is allocated through random selection.

Successful participants will be informed of the results and the next steps they need to take to continue the process after the random selection draw is conducted by FIFA.

Purchasing tickets involves selecting tickets from the available inventory at the time of the purchase and completing the payment using a valid card to finalize the transaction. Please ensure that you meet all applicable terms and conditions as outlined by FIFA Ticketing before completing your purchase.

Successful entrants are selected from a random selection draw.

After the draw, winners can purchase available tickets at a time indicated by FIFA Ticketing on a first come, first served basis.

A fan can withdraw their entry into a random selection draw at any time during the entry period.

Ticket sales are final. A ticket purchaser cannot cancel or return their tickets that have been purchased.

Immediately after entering the random selection draw, you will receive an email confirmation with the details. Please note that this confirmation email simply acknowledges your entry into the draw and does not mean that any tickets have been allocated or granted at this stage.

You can consult the status of your entry and/or the results of the draw in your FIFA ticketing account, within the timeline predefined and communicated by FIFA Ticketing. If your entry in the Early Ticket Draw is successful, An email notification will also be sent once the results are available.

Fans will receive a ticket confirmation email upon successful payment. Please note that tickets will not be delivered immediately; they will be made available in the FWC2026 Mobile Tickets app.

No purchase is required to enter the random selection draw.

Card information will be collected at the time of submission, and a zero-value transaction may be applied to verify your card. This is a small temporary charge, and the currency used will depend on your country of residence. This amount will be immediately refunded once the verification is complete. 

Depending on your country of residence, you will be charged as follows:

Residents of Canada will be charged 1 Canadian dollar (CAD)

Residents of Mexico will be charged up to 20 Mexican pesos (MXN)

Residents of the United States will be charged 1 United States dollar (USD)

All other international fans will also be charged 1 United States dollar (USD)

Yes, payment is required to confirm the tickets in accordance with the applicable Terms of Sale.
