No, your seat location is not a valid reason to cancel or return your ticket. Seats within the same ticket category may differ in rows, sections, or locations. FIFA Ticketing does not guarantee that you and your guests will be seated together, even if you submitted your applications at the same time or for the same match.
In addition, please note the following:
FIFA Ticketing attempts, but does not guarantee, to seat together multiple tickets for a match that you purchase within a single transaction that are in the same ticket category in your ticketing account at the time of seat assignment. For specific details, please refer to Clause 3.3 of the Ticket Terms of Sale for General Public.
You can use the “Sit Together” functionality and request to be seated next to your friends and/or family until 22 February 2026 at 11:00 am (Eastern Time); 8:00 am (Pacific Time); 10:00 am (Mexico City Time); 17:00 (Central European Time).
A pre-condition for being seated together is that all ticket applications must be for the same matches, ticket products and categories.
The “Sit Together” functionality is only applicable when you are requesting to sit with individuals who have made different transactions.
When you purchase ticket(s) via the FIFA Resale/Exchange Marketplace, the "Sit Together" functionality is not available. This functionality is also unavailable when using the Ticket Transfer feature.
