When you transfer a ticket to someone else using the Ticket Transfer feature, the recipient gains full control over the ticket. This includes the ability to use it, re-transfer it, invite their own guests, or list it for resale/exchange on the FIFA Resale/Exchange Marketplace.
The FIFA Resale Marketplace is available to Canadian, American, and all other international users, while the FIFA Exchange Marketplace (Mercado de Intercambio de la FIFA) is intended for residents of Mexico. This initiative is designed to protect you from invalid or unauthorized resale/exchange and is subject to federal and local regulations, as well as the applicable terms and conditions.
Note: If your intention is simply to send a ticket to a privately invited guest for match attendance (while you retain all associated ticket benefits), the Ticket Transfer feature is not for you. Instead, you should access the FWC2026 Mobile Tickets app, which is available for download now.
