It varies depending on whether you are purchasing tickets for matches held in Canada and the United States or in Mexico on the FIFA Resale/Exchange Marketplace.
For matches held in Canada and/or the United States:
If you want to purchase companion tickets for matches held in Canada or the United States on the FIFA Resale/Exchange Marketplace (subject to availability), you and your companion must choose the same accessibility ticket category.
Example: If you buy Easy Access Standard – Category 1, your companion must also have Easy Access Standard – Category 1.
For matches held in Mexico:
If you want to purchase companion tickets for matches held in Mexico on the FIFA Resale/Exchange Marketplace, you must choose the accessibility ticket category for yourself and the corresponding companion category for your companion.
Example: If you buy Easy Access Standard – Category 1, your companion must have Easy Access Standard Companion – Category 1.
For more details, please visit the Accessibility Tickets FAQ section.
Please note: Under ticketing accessibility rules, each participant is limited to a maximum of four tickets total, including companion tickets, based on the household limits. Additional companion tickets beyond this limit cannot be purchased.
While the FIFA Resale/Exchange Marketplace allows you to purchase tickets originally purchased by other fans, you can also purchase FIFA World Cup 2026™ tickets through the official sales phases announced on FIFA.com/tickets. These sales phases may offer a wider variety of ticket products and categories, some of which may not be available on the FIFA Resale/Exchange Marketplace. Please note that ticket availability on the FIFA Resale/Exchange Marketplace and during sales phases is always subject to availability.
